The SSSTS training scheme provides first line managers/supervisors who are looking to progress to managers with an introduction level of health and safety.
The CITB SSTS qualification is a recognized qualification outlined in the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) for the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007 (CDM) (Demonstration of competence, Appendix 4).
To provide delegates with the skills and knowledge to perform their duties to the standards prescribed by City & Guilds and in-line with the Confined Space Regulations 1997, therefore safeguard themselves and others.
To provide first line managers/supervisors (or those seeking to become a manager/supervisor) with the knowledge and skills to enable them to contribute to safely managed construction or civil engineering site.
